  1. Just a note to say I love you to our 2 beautiful Siamese Cats named, Kimmie & Sanyo.

  2. FIRST: what is describe hear is what I have witnessed and may contain some graphical images and descriptions of a Slaughterhouse routine process.

After arriving at various locations here is what I have experienced. In certain cases you the customer has the right to choose your animal for processing but there are those that you can not choose your animal meaning they’ll choose your animal for you because of the amount especially if the place you choose is a private market then sometimes I wonder about what I am really getting.
In some you the customer are allowed to watch the procedure while gaining hands on to the animal parts for further cleaning and processing. While again you put in your order and then wait. Then there seems to be several price fluxuations pending the slaughterhouse market you go too. Generally speaking it’s allot cheaper to buy the whole animal and select the parts you want to consume or give the discarded parts to a friend who likes the particular parts you do not want.

The best part, it’s not frozen first, the second part, better have a semi strong stomach and a strong nose. Seriously, it’s not that bad, your body will adjust just like a farm visit or if you own a farm. Third it is hard work and safety is a MUST because of the hands on experience cutting up the meat. And Fourthly, a clean work place is a PRIORITY. You can only move the air so fast and you don’t want the air blowing on the animals during the slaughter.

With most of the slaughterhouses I have seen separate rooms for various animals such has, chickens, pigs, cattle, sheep and goats and some places share the same room. I have seen the inspections sheets posted in which surprised me in how often they are inspected.

The other side to this is some places you are not allowed to watch the process.

Now when you arrive like I said you noticed the smell but soon get over it. You stand at the order window and place your order but in some cases you are allowed to choose or pick out your animal for slaughter then go back to the window. The animal is chosen then led down the chute for processing. The animal is sprayed down with water before it reaches the final stages. Pending on the animal chosen, the animal is either electrocuted using amperage pending the tool used by squeezing like a clamp around the animals lower upper area or by means of a bolt gun (not a bullet) directly on the head causing the animal to completely lose consciousness but at this time still alive but with the restrictions of said measures the next step has to be done in less then 30 seconds or even sooner or the animal will regain full consciousness. So when the animal is tied to the rear leg it is being halled up by rope or chain in a upside down fashion were the throat is then poked with a knife and sliced open were the blood drains into a bucket.

At this time, the animal is weighed at the same time and the weight recorded on the slip to bring to the window for payment.

The animal is completely dead and feeling no pain. It’s a quick process.

Pending the animal being slaughtered the pig goes through a extreme hot bath then is rotated to a what I call a hair removal system or has the option of being burned to remove the hair. Then unto the slaughtering process were it is sprayed with water quite frequently to keep it clean to include the floor area. In some cases even the same razors we use on ourselves is used on the pig to remove the hair. Then cutting up the meat for the customer.

In the case of sheep and goats, the sheep and goat did not go through the extreme hot water or the hair removal machine. But rather sprayed constantly with water and hair removal by hand. Then also has a option for burning the hair off. Then to the next step for cutting up the meat for the customer. And in each step water is again being used to keep the area clean to include the floor work area.

The cattle is done in much the same way but much larger to work on. The chickens were much more easier for processing.

In some cases the customer is directly involved in the process. When the point is reached for the well the guts to come out, the customer will collect the parts and bring them to a sink area and wash and clean the parts themselves which is not unusual but a common practice among several cultures. Then placed in bags and put in the car and brought home. But then again your still waiting for the final process to be done so you can take home everything from the animal you selected for slaughter. Then you can cooked it up the way you like it and enjoy fresh meat on your table.

Overall, I noticed the actual care that was provided, keeping the place clean and washed down was the positive side to everything. But there was those that seemed a bit lazy but kept on with the process with no problems. And then there were some that, omg, you gotta do better. Then some, how in the world do you operate wonder why people think the way they do and have so many animal rights organizations.

Then with everything in life, your going to have the bad places has well has bad people, we has the people just have to learn to deal with it and do our part in the support of helping them do things the right way but not by causing violence towards them.

  3. It’s been a long time since I wrote about things and allot has changed in my views of animal related subjects and several organizations asking for support, money, and even protection regarding there own programs but there’s allot you don’t know or you might think you know but really don’t. Because you read things, you watch things and you listen to several people’s points of view making you think it’s right.

After carefully researching and touring various slaughterhouses and other organizations including discussions with various religions around the world, I have came to a decision in my life that I want to share with you all regarding animals.

First, I am sick of the ways of negative people towards any opinion that is shared, there’s no reason for this such threats and profanity towards various people, nothing is going to get accomplished that way.

Second, I still love my animals and will forever and will do my best to protect them. But when it comes to certain organizations such has PETA or the United States Humane Societies or the ASPCA’s or any other organization around the world some of the practices you all are teaching is falsely related and the distorted truth towards the public.

How do you explain the killing of animals that you have locked up in cages? Just because they can’t find a home or are really sick gives you the right to kill them or has you say humanely euthanizing them. What do you all consider proper killing towards animals or I should use the word, Euthanasia. Here is a few examples, shooting with a bullet, shooting them with a bold gun, giving them a IV by so called putting them to sleep, slitting there throats, or even electrocuting them or simply letting them starve to death or even overfeeding them till there stomachs explode.

Allot of people eat meat and there are those that don’t eat meat or dairy products at all. Does that consider them bad people? No it doesn’t, it’s choice we all make on our own.

Have you ever wondered what a slaughter house really does? Oh so you say you’ve only seen videos or heard about it from people. Then hear about how bad it is for the body with all the toxins, okay then what about the processing of non meat related products, you think because it contains no meat or dairy by products, it’s good for you, you better think again. I challenage anyone to go out and visit your slaughterhouse and experience first hand what goes on. And telling you straight out, the first thing you noticed is the smell in which most people call the smell of death, that is false, it is the combination of smells in which various animals are in holding cells and the remaining left overs of which the people do not use that are discarded.

Which one of you all ever had fresh meat versus a grocery store meat? Oh my, there is a huge difference in taste and color. Number one, you have no idea how long that meat has been sitting there in the store or on the shelf. How many colors are added just to keep the color of the meat looking good. Where in a slaughterhouse you know were your meat is coming from and you see it being processed in front of you. And the preparation and the taste is totally outstanding versus the grocery stores market. Oh, you say it comes from the same place has a slaughterhouse, yes that is true or from other related slaughterhouse vendors but guess what it has to go through to get to the store how many times it’s handled and transfered from table to table from cutting maching to another then wrapped up a few times with coloring added.

Bottom line, oh so you say being vegan is okay, well sure it is but just because it’s organic it’s okay or even cost a bit more, it’s okay so your telling me, you like processed foods or even yeah it is natural from the garden, oh it’s better for you. What’s in your garden outside or what’s grown on the inside from what country in which it is imported from, what processing plants are putting what you think is good stuff in it.

What about religions? Oh your not religious, oh that’s cool too but wish you were but anyways, even religions will tell you about meat. Of what to eat and not what to eat, it doesn’t mean it’s bad for you just the beliefs that particular religion has. What about the ten commandments that Christians try to follow? “thou shalt not kill” what does that pertain too. Quite simply, it pertains to us the humans, God created us in His own image and you shall not kill each other meaning humans. So what about the animals then, God created the animals for us to eat or hunt for just like God created the plants or vegetables to eat.

Now, about purposely harming a animal for the fun of it or torturing it or simply being cruel to it, that is totally wrong!

Loving animals is one thing, but it’s another of what some of the organizatioons are teaching you or manipulating you to believe, what your money and donations, can you get exact proof were your money is going? I doubt it so be careful.

I know there’s allot of things I left out but for those that have questions, I want to hear from you or feel free to write your own comments.
